De MaiwandAtalan had a solid team performance in the 2015 Main Event securing third position in the overall team rankings.This was Atalan's third time to make it to the knock out rounds in their history. 2013 was an exception when they had their first winless year.

 Their opening game of this season was a 2-2 draw against ToofanHarirod. They crushed SimorghAlborz 2-1 in their second game but suffered their first defeat of the season at the group stage in the hands of ShaheenAsmayee 1-0.

However, their four points was enough to take them into the knock out round. They faced De SpingharBazan in the semifinals and finished their first game with a 1-0 win. Bazan had a strong comeback in their second faceoff against Atalan, first scored their equalizing goal and then defeated Atalan in a 4-2 penalty shootout.

Atalan faced Mawjhai Amu in the match over the third place ranking and secured an important 5-1 victory.
