A) APL is the first professional football league in Afghanistan that continues to advocate for sportsmanship and professional sporting by embracing best practices in league management, match officiating, talent management, sports broadcasting and marketing.
 
B) APL players are given a salary package that is commensurate of  top professionals in context to local market realities in Afghanistan.
 
C) Over and above, APL provides players with all essential needs during the season, including; food, lodging, transport and medical services.
 
D) Additionally, APL compensates players for promotional appearances that are conducted for various sponsors.
 
E) More importantly, APL has cash prizes for players and team based on performance, and for Season Four, the prize allocation is as per below:

• Champion                                      750,000 AFN
• Runner U                                       500,000 AFN
• Man of the match (Final)                 10,000 AFN
• Man of the match (Sunbola)             5,000 AFN
• Man of the match (Mezan)               5,000 AFN
• Man of the tournament                    50,000 AFN

F) As part of our ongoing efforts, APL continuously seeks to increase its sponsor base with an attempt to improve the overall league and within that allow for higher salary packages for players.
 
G) APL is also determined to transform the league from a two month exhibition into an annual sporting event which would then ensure players full time employment, subject to their performance.
