The Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL) regional tournaments are the main selection forums for selecting players from around the country in the league. There will be eight regional tournaments; each will feature four to five teams representing various provinces. Players will exhibit their football talents and skills and work hard to make one of the eight RAPL final rosters. For the second time, RAPL's FIFA A-licensed visiting coaches from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan alongside Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) officials will travel to the center of each region to recruit the best talents for their respective teams. This change is expected to provide a major boost to the overall level of competition amongst the eight teams in the RAPL Main Event this year.

This year’s regional tournament will kick off from Kabul on 7^th April with 11 contesting teams. The first episode of Green Field will broadcast on 12^th May.
