Bazan Dominated the Game Against Amu

2 Sep, 2015

De Spinghar Bazan was clearly the dominate side at today's game against Mawjhai Amu at the AFF Stadium.

Bazan's Fahim Afkar broke the deadlock at the 22nd minute of the first half with a nice chip over the head of Amu's goalie, Mahboob Kakar. Moving forward Bazan maintained good position of the ball and challenged  Amu on multiple occasions throughout the rest of the first half.

The second half of the game started with great action, with Afkar  scoring his second goal of the game for Bazan at 49th minute helping establish a clear 2-0 lead for Bazan.

One of Bazan's defense men, Manan Farahi  placed the ball in the back of their own net in an effort to clear the ball away from their area at 56th minute mark. This gave Amu's fans in the stadium a boost to cheer louder and demand their team to go after more goals.

Amu adopted a faster pace for the rest of the game. Their second chance came late in the second half of the game at the 90th minute of the game as Hedayatullah Ahmadi converted a penalty shot to the second goal for Amu.

Bazan frustration was evident in their counter-attack at last minute of the stoppage time, they couldn't land a game winning score. The whistle was blown and the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
