Decisive game ahead of Simorgh

25 Sep, 2016

Another sensational competition is on the way at the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) stadium. Shaheen Asmayee, in a returning, will go head to head with Simorgh Alborz. This is the first returning game Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL) 2016 semi-finals. The pitch will be kicked-off at 2:30 pm.

Previously, both teams contested at the first leg, Simorgh conceded the game 8-1 to Shaheen. Though Simorgh took an early lead, Shaheen banished thoughts of back-to-back strikes and goals. Extraordinarily, Shaheen netted five goals in the first-half and another three in the second-half, killing Simorgh’s chance to advance to RAPL 2016 final.

Samiullah Mohammadi, Shaheen’s captain, and its prominent goalie, Kawash Hiadari are not in the line-up for today. This could be a fortunate point for the rival, Simorgh, to take advantage of.

Simorgh Alborz kicked-off RAPL 2015 with a confident 3-1 victory over Shaheen Asmayee; however, it was not able to halve the deficit at Shaheen’s home just few days ago. To advance to RAPL 2016 final, Simorgh needs to secure 8-0 thunderbolt triumph over Shaheen in today’s pitch.

With its remarkable 8-1 victory over Simorgh on September 22, 2016, Shaheen tends to have a much better chance of advancing to final; yet, soon to judge.

Don’t miss the clash! Catch the games live on TOLO TV, Lemar TV, Arman FM, and Arakozia FM. It will also be watchable on the RAPL YouTube page (www.youtube.com/afghanpremierleague).
