Mustafa Afshar is a key striker for Afghanistan National Team

Mustafa Afshar is one of RAPL's star players who have been playing in the league for the last four years. He played his first three RAPL seasons with Shaheen Asmayee, RAPL's undisputed champions in 2013 and 2014. He joined De Maiwand Atalan's squad in the fourth RAPL and secured his first RAPL Golden Boot award after securing six goals , the most number of goals scored by an individual player in the 2015 RAPL Main Event. Afshar had came close to the title in 2014 but  his teammate, at the time, Reza Rezayi outshined him with more two goals.

He started playing football when he was only 10 years old while living as an Afghan refugee in Iran. Since then, He has come a long way and has built a successful professional career for himself in football. He has played for the Afghanistan National Football Team on several occasions to bring glory for his country. Recently, he has joined the ranks once again to play in the 2015 SAFF games and mark his name in history as one of Afghanistan's finest strikers.

Afshar is from Kabul and a family man in his personal life. He is married and has three beautiful children. He is destined for more glory in the years to come.
