This is the most important game of Group B and the stakes couldn't be any higher for Simorgh Alborz and Toofan Harirod going against each other later today at the AFF Stadium.

Shaheen Asmayee from the same group is already in the 2015 RAPL semifinals with six points. Today's winner will follow Shaheen's lead but it is definitely not an easy trail to follow.

Simorgh exhibited an outstanding performance in the opening game of the season against  Shaheen and triumphed 3-1. Their captain, Monerulhaq Nadim outperformed expectations scoring two splendid goals in this game.

Simorgh faced De Maiwand Atalan in their second game of the season. Atalan defeated Simorgh 2-1 with a late goal at stoppage time of the second half. Simorgh have been able to secure only three points in their last two games. Without any doubt they will advance onto the semifinals, if they secure today's win.

Toofan tied their first game with Atalan 2-2 and lost their second game to Shaheen 3-0.  They have only secured one point in the competition thus far. To advance on to the semifinals, they have to win today's game and score more than two goals.

All of the group stage matches will start at 3:30 pm this season. The matches will broadcast live on TOLO TV, Lemar TV, Arman FM and Arakozai FM.  It will also be watchable on the RAPL YouTube page (www.youtube.com/afghanpremierleague).
